He completed post-doctorate studies at the Wallenberg Neuroscience Center, Section of Restorative Neurology, at Lund University, Sweden. He completed post-doctorate studies at the University of California, San Diego (United States). He is an undergraduate professor (Associate IV) at the Institute of Public Health of the Federal University of Western Pará (UFOPA) and post-graduate (Neurosciences and Cell Biology, Oncology and Medical Sciences) at the Institute of Biological Sciences of the Federal University of Pará.
